Upvoted because the Leach situation sucks, but read my handle. No cowbell in this house.

BK plays one QB all season until he has to substitute. Van Buren will not see the field or not very much in 2025. He's an insurance policy for QB1 because Swann is no good and Hurley apparently is not an option.

Going to starve with only $500,000 next season.
Situation is just absurd.

I don't know how Miss St can compete in this era, unless there are some deep pocket alumni that im not familiar with
In fact i don't know how any team competes without an incredibly wealthy alumni base contributing to the program. A billionaire could literally buy a top roster at any school if they wanted.

They're going to survive the same way we're going to survive: they find the guys that want to play, and will do it for fair pay.
This NIL thing is a frickin fad that maybe 50 people in the country can swing in their favor for their team. You get a few 8 figure 5 stars that don't do shite, and eventually those money blowing idiots will stop.
We support our programs through loads and loads of small donations. You don't stop to think for a second before you pay for Netflix, Hulu, and Disney plus. Are you gonna stop and think before paying a $20 NIL fee for every ticket you buy, or $10 a month to get a little inside peek into LSU football?

All in all he will be a good qb, he a good kid too. The only big flaw that he can’t help is his height I know they say he’s 6’0” but he honestly closer to 5’10” and he gets batted down at the line a lot. Other than that I’m a fan of his and will root for him

What's Miss St's QB situation
That they're Mississippi State.......Having said that, Starkville is a great campus.

Ran into the Van Buren boys one time. Things were about to get dicey until I threw up eights.

There’s something that just doesn’t add up about transferring out because you can’t get 1.3
I would guess the 1.3-1.5M figure was for 3 years, not 1. He basically was looking for a long-term contract and nobody bit, so he took the shorter deal and is betting on himself for the future.
