ERA may not be good, but has very low walks and averages over a strikeout per inning.

Was talking about kid that pitched in relief today in early game. Not sure if he can give them anything tonight. If I am correct?

Obviously, I was wrong. In fairness to Moscona (and the scout), it was his morning show that aired before the USM Kennesaw game started. I was jonesing for some LSU baseball content, and Sunday doesn’t provide much, so that’s on me. The timing part, I mean. Should have confirmed that with their box score. So how many innings/pitches did the big guy throw? Could he come back tomorrow (God forbid)?

The reliever last night made LSU look like a high school team in the batter's box. He had 9+ innings total and pitched, what?, five last night and made LSU batters look inept, Crews include. Yes, I know a team can have a bad night but GEEZ he did the trick. One more night off at the plate and it is sayonara! LSU looked like they did against Arky and Ole Miss.

Watching Moscona (I know) this morning, and he said he talked to a scout (I know), and he said this guy going for USM tonight would be our Friday night guy and is projected around a 5h round(ish) pick. I also think he said he’s 6’8” (?) and USM has the 2nd best staff behind behind Tennessee in Division 1 (I think). I cannot confirm or deny if any of this is true, just passing it along.

The thread title spells it out succinctly.

What part didn't you understand? How the hell would this guy be our #1 starter?

Can you think for yourself?

I actually want LSU to embarrass them since there fans remind me of TN

Their fans remind me of ULL ~2000 and/or some of those better UNO/SLU teams in the 2000's.

There's a female USM fan who must sit right next to the ESPN mic and she's constantly either "woooooooooo!" or constantly doing that thing where she's talking words of encouragement (as though the players can hear that). It comes across the mic like she's doing it directly in it. It's almost as bad as the Vandy whistler. And she will not let a moment go by in the game without making some kind of noise.

He got shelled against Ole Miss, South Alabama, and Southeastern just to name a few

That means his ERA will drop to 1.50 after our hitters don't show up. Here today, gone tomorrow. Hope I am wrong.

But does he throw heat or junk? Cause if he throws junk, throw that ERA out the window
