Irrelevant. This isn’t why LSU lost.

Unfortunately yes, but it was week 1 and a neutral site. Helps relieve the sting.

Good teams get better week by week, poorly coached teams do not.

Doesn't matter. Just go 10-2 and you in.

Win 2 of 3 of OM Bama and TAMU and you are in. People aren’t recognizing that a lot of the teams in top 15 play each other a lot. It will be a bloodbath. For example Georgia still has yet to play Texas Ole Miss and Tenn. Ohio state plays Oregon and Penn State. Even without upsets like this week it’s gonna be wild

Yes. It's so frustrating that Brian Kelly can't have a team ready to play winning football when the season begins. It always takes him one month to put a stable product on the field.

Maybe the LSU schedule maker will get the memo

In both losses , USC gave up 200 plus in rushing yards. We should have run more to control the game.

Didn’t we have a whole lot of trouble running the ball?

Because we kept running it right up the middle right into their defense. If we simply pitched the ball like 5 times we probably win by 2 touchdowns. Kelly got completely outcoached. They were crashing inside and we wouldn’t pass or run option to defeat that defense. We would have won easy if all of the following didn’t happen. Kelly getting embarrassingly out coached, few bad calls by refs, 4 very near turnovers we didn’t get and insane wr play by USC.

BK has a couple games a year where the team is not prepared to even start the game.

you honestly think we'll only lose one of the following games?

Ole Miss
at Arky
at A&M
Alabama
at Florida
Vandy
Oklahoma

We'll lose at least 3 of those games

LSU has gotten better and better on defense since that game. They have also developed a running game since that game. Sometimes teams struggle early and get better. Sometimes teams don't improve. It looks as though USC is not improving, and LSU is. Not that hard to understand. Should be an electric environment come this Saturday night. If ever LSU players need to adopt a business approach to each game, it is now....each week from here on out will be a dogfight. I wish we played State or Auburn.

I don't think it's any more or less of a stinker than it was then. A game we should never have lost.

But nothing we can do about it now - but we can do something about the rest of the games on our schedule starting Saturday with Joey frickin Freshwater?
