lol Clemson isn't a conference game, so that's irrelevant.
It is on par with a SEC road game when Clemson is good.

That changes to guaranteed loss if you bring it to TS.
Have you seen them play? It's a guaranteed loss anywhere, including Columbia.

Irrelevant.
4 conference home games, 4 conference away games. That's all this is about.

Not a dick move at all. If we host this game I'm sure all proceeds over expense will be given to USC for relief efforts
Actually from what was said on radio thus am. The money would all go to SC as this would still be considered their home game.
I would guess after expenses of course but gate would go to them

That's on yall for playing them. It has no bearing on the SEC schedule.

The safety of the people (of Columbia, first responders, players, coaches and fans) should be the FIRST priority. If there is no running water and there is no electricity and the police/first responders are stretched thin, that should be the answer right there. Take money completely out of the equation and the answer is simple. People are the number one priority.
I am a life-long LSU fan/alum - living on the East Coast. We bought tickets for the game. Of course, we were looking forward to driving down to Columbia and enjoying our weekend there- just like everyone else who has or bought tickets. It isn't about the money, it is about the people and the safety. If it isn't safe, it should NOT be there. Period. If the tables were turned (and it has been) I would say the same. Safety first. Yes, they should try to move to to a neutral site in the vicinity of SC. I agree. However, if they can not, they need to say where it will be so that everyone can plan. I am sure that there is a contingent of USC fans who wouldn't mind doing the drive to BR. I am sure they would appreciate being able to return to some resemblance of "normalcy", albeit, for a few mere days. Above all, this is about the game and the people. If they continue on with the plan to play in Columbia- I would find it to be selfish just to play it there. It isn't safe and it isn't the right thing to do. Praying for the people of SC! Keep your chins up!

Nobody cares about your nerdy OOC schedule.

It doesn't make sense for both fan bases to have to travel to the game on short notice.
Really don't see any neutral site as a viable option.

You don't think LSU would donate at least some of the concession profits to SC?

the neutral site at some of the places named makes no sense. The attendance will be beyond poor and USC will stand to lose even more money. Columbia or BR should be the only options.
that is my feeling as well. if it comes down to money, which all college athletics essentially do, then Baton Rouge makes the most sense. the stadium can be filled, a majority of the profit can go towards relief efforts or USC. if it comes down to the integrity of the competition, then play at an empty WB in SC.
Neutral sites, on this short of notice will lose money.

Yall think tanner had the balls to call up the mayor, state police chief, and actually ask them if they had any deputies/troopers to spare for saturday? Seems like a dick move IMO
