Cocky, don't be silly. USC is being inconsiderate because they want a home game that their fans can easily drive to. Trust LSU, come to BR, it's in your best interest.
I see nothing wrong with USC wanting a game that our fans can easily drive to.
Keep in mind, 98% of fans that would be attending the game in Columbia are not affected by the flooding.

He's being sarcastic. Not sure why

your own governor said they don't want people on the roads if it's not 100% necessary.

how are you going to get the people assembled in other cities to work a major college football gameday?
I don't know, that it isn't my job. But it sounds like they are trying to figure it out.
Listen, BR is obviously the obvious choice, but you all need to chill out and let Ray Tanner figure out what is best for USC fans and players.

State offices in Columbia are open today. I dealt with the normal amount of traffic coming in today.

I'm being sarcastic because this thread is 50 pages of LSU fans talking about how USC should have moved the game to BR Monday and not considered Columbia or alternate sites since BR is the obvious choice and in their best interest.
The feel in this thread is like when politicians were trying to convince the populace that obamacare is in their best interest.

They should play the game in Columbia. Those people need a break from all the stress and heartache and a good SEC matchup would help heal the community. LSU can send extra police to help with Gameday activities.

I hear all sides. Living in Atlanta I get the chance to see LSU in person once maybe twice a year. Have tickets to this game. Even though I have obligations in New York the night before the game, I arranged a flight that got me into Columbia an hour before the game. At this point I just need official word as to if it will move to Baton Rouge or not. Already prepared to eat the money on the flight to Columbia and get a new flight from New York to Atlanta. I am at peace with whatever they decide but the longer they wait the more I probably pay in the end. If it is that bad there just move the game and be done with this limbo.

right, in the middle of an area where dams are breaching daily and there's major infrastructure problems statewide.
not to mention 3000 national guard on site with cops spread thin.
yeah good call

Kinda thought this, too.
Assuming roads are OK, just bring some trailers and water for the police and set them up.
Easier to do temp logistics for 500 than move 60,000.
Again, I'm not sure about the roads to and from...
