win our bowl game and a solid 11-2 and top 10 finish...considering the offensive woes at times this year, that's acceptable.

Wow, Boise St is ahead of LSU? I usually don't give a frick about these polls, but that is unacceptable

Eighteen teams with at least 10 wins, so far. Could have 25 before it's all over.
Just saying.
Just saying.

Laugh out frickING loud at Virginia Tech being ranked ahead of LSU. We would be 12-0 with their pathetic excuse for a schedule. I don't give a shite if they have won 10 straight. When you lose to a WAC team and a fricking FCS team AT HOME, you should be punished in the polls for the entire season.
48-7 Hokie bitches, 48-7.

I was thinking the same thing! It wasnt like we lost to a team in the Sun Belt (or WAC for that matter)

That is a point I made the other day at work. i stated that 10 wins is more like 8 in years past due to the number of increased games they play, more opportunities to schedule the ULM's for example. That is why I am not too excited about the number of wins, but the losses.
Cholly Mac would win 7-9 games every year. I always thought he was a good, not great, coach b/c of that. I view Less in the same class. FOR GOD SAE LETS NOT KEEP HIM THAT FREAKIN LONG!

this poll is proof of why a play off system is needed
Va Tech would lose to LSU, AL, SC and I will throw in the Bulldogs!

Amazing, posted this before anyone else and requested sticky. Than someone else post the same thing after me, and theirs gets stickied. Really don't think I am going to bother posting these polls anymore, if my post will be ignored anyhow.

Not surprising. At least we did not drop lower.

The THREE big 10 teams in the top 10 is hilarious. Michigan State and Ohio State did not play, and the schedule strength of those teams is in the 80's, at Best. Look at how many teams in the Big 10 are bowl eligible vs. the SEC.
THIS, more than any other reason is why I'm a BIG supporter of a 16 team playoff type system, using the Bowls as venues.

Stanford is going to Bitch Slap Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. Virginia Tech will get blown out of the water by Arkansas in the Orange Bowl. Interested to see what happens in the computer polls as well as the Harris.

All the numbers suggest LSU should be ranked higher than VT, but the "We would be 12-0 with their schedule" argument holds absolutely no water.
