Urban Meyer is a disgrace to American football. We should honestly send him to Europe to coach soccer because that's about all he's worth at this point. Instead of returning to Jacksonville after a loss on Thursday night, he decides he's going to "spend time with his grandkids" and proceeds to go to a bar he owns with a young female that ends up throwing it back on him. He deserves everything he gets coming his way. This isnt the type of guy I want running the football team for the best university the planet has ever seen (LSU). I could go on for hours about why this guy shuold NOT ever be considered to lead the LSU football team.

He has no chance of getting the LSU job. Not because he’s not a good coach, because he has too much baggage.

It’s just not going to happen given current circumstances at LSU

Woodward won’t even call Urban or his agent because it’s a waste of time, Woodward knows it won’t work

On the heels of a scandal where a former coach was messing around with young blondes, racy pics of a current coach messing around with young blondes, and a Title9 situation where people can’t keep their hands of girls, there is 0% chance LSU is hiring Urban

I don't want him here simply because he'll want out in 3-4 years because of a condition. Then we're doing this all over again.

If he would win a NC in that timeframe it would be worth it

His little stint the other night probably sealed that one if it wasn't already.

Why wouldn't you want one of the most successful college coaches of our generation outside of Saban?

Dude would have us in the playoff in 1-2 years.

I wouldnt put it past Woodward to float his name like he did Pat Casey to give the media something to talk about while he hires the real candidate

Yep

Nonetheless we will see 100’s of threads and comments about him related to the LSU job on here even though there is Zero chance he’ll be LSU’s next coach. Zero

I do agree he’s a tremendous coach and I would take him in a heartbeat at LSU, it just isn’t going to happen at LsU so really pointless and waste of everyone’s time to spend too much time discussing

Scott will be relieved. I know he has been sitting at his desk nervously waiting for “footballfan23”s input regarding the matter.

I'm a fan truly but im also a realist... Yes Urban would have us back in the Playoffs and he probably will be gone in 4 to 6 years... He also will more than likely have a guy that could take iver when he leaves that will continue a successful run... But I just don't think it is a move that will help with the image of the program.
