Several of my friends didn't get tickets when we were freshman in 2007. I would say close to half of them didnt.

So Tigah, if it's apparently not a big deal to leave the stadium if you're team is losing why is it such a big deal for students to leave when we are up by 6 TDs?

Were you even there? Today was like a winter day compared to some of the hell pits I've sat through in Tiger Stadium. If you got dehydrated today and had to leave you need to re-evaluate your physical fitness and hydration practices.

He isn't even complaining about students not showing up - he's complaining about the students deciding to cram together instead of sitting in another section because it looks bad on tv. Come on, that is ridiculous.

We crammed into the student section too. They've always over-sold it for as long as I can remember. They need to put those tickets in the upper NEZ in the general ticket pool.

No shite. I didn't say it was the hottest day that Tiger Stadium has ever existed. I just said it was hot as frick. Which it was. The sun was beating directly down on us and the wind was stagnant. Very hard to stay appropriately hydrated when I am sweating and can't afford to buy tons of water.
It got very comfortable around halftime.
ETA I was talking about the temperature before the game started if you didn't pick up on that

Weren't student tickets free up until the late 80s, early 90s? At least that's what my parents used to tell me.
The student section would easily be filled up, and be completely crammed if we still had that luxury. I don't see how you can whine about the student section being half empty in the 4th quarter(I disagree, but we have our own opinions) when a vast majority of the stadium was gone in the 3rd quarter.
With that said, I see both sides of these arguments. Students get selective, cheap seating to the stadium, so we should stay at the games and support what could be one of the best teams we've seen at LSU. Even though students greatly pack themselves in the bottom corner. There were 7 of us in 3 seats on the first row.
As a last tidbit, not all students get hammered and yell vulgarity as some of you say. I don't drink, and I HATE how the students use vulgarity in such immature ways, such as Neck.
Oh and BTW,
We beat Auburn by 35!
