Oh I'm sure he didn't. He was just an innocent bartender trying to keep the peace. Probably goes to church on Sunday mornings gives some of his tips to the collection, then goes to his Maw-Maw's where he mows her yard before finishing up his perfect day with a vist to the Oncology ward at OLOL.

I hope this doesn't go in that direction, but for Patrick Fisher (attorney), its on the table
So after Patrick booms a punt into the endzone, he goes to the bench and prepares briefs???

Also, doesn't matter if one of the bouncers was black. A black man can discriminate against another black man and violate his civil rights.
Jesse, Al, which are you.....
Race had not a fricking thing to do with this situation so leave it out.....

Clearly in BR (and I'm LSU alumnus), these athletes are the stars and they are picked on. If they are really losing or playing bad, then it can get really ugly.

Is it true that some of the bouncers where fired over this?
I'm trying to sort facts from fiction.

Of course.... If some high dollar alumnus wanted it to happen it would happen.
But I am glad to see that someone of stature (loomis) is on the other side of the table. We might actually get to the bottom of this shite

TheDoc, sports2 was on here last night trying to get your roommates side of the story. Did you email him?

charges of violating civil rights are on the table as well as assault.
Clearly someone attacked an LSU player with some type of sneak attack, resulting in this heated altercation.
varsity might want to look at some customer service training. If it's closing time, shouldn't the bar be emptied and not just football players, while others are dancing and enjoying themselves.
Are you gonna march on BR with Jesse, AL?

who on this board thinks that it shows incredibly poor discretion for RP to be at a bar that late in the first place, especially given his history and need to stay away from trouble?

So, in addition to punting on the weekends, he doubles as a lawyer during the week?

he 's ok as far as i know. just sucks gating to deal with stupid people who want to fight you because they think they can do whatever they want to and think they don't have to deal with the consequences. the security at the varsity is bar none the best in any night club in baton rouge. people should feel safe in any establishment on campus regardless of color. 3 staff members are no longer working there after the incident. sad stuff.

Several post on "blame the bouncers" I have to disagree with. If you have ever bounced anywhere you will know that you are not treated as a employee of the bar more like a "wanna be" with a security shirt on. They have to deal with drunk morons nightly. If they have a short fuse be in their shoes for a moment and you might understand why. If you and you wife were having trouble in a bar who would be the FIRST person you'd go to.. unless you have your "gat" in the car...

An ironic statement, to say the least......

I wouldn't go to the 21 year old hard legs with Security shirts!
I'm not blaming anyone but if 3 people got fired I'm sure it was for good reason!

no not for good reason. Most bars take that stance incase of a law suit..strictly use them as fall guys..doesn't need to be a "good" reason
