Posters here are astonishing. Bashing Dave for trying to take a good coach? His job as HC is to win football games, not make sure his TigerDroppings fans are happy with him still. This type of poaching happens everyday in the real world. Quit whining

Newly hired head coaches tend to hire at least some guys who they are familiar with to fill out their staff. People need to get over being butthurt about it.

Why’d you respond to me with this? I’m not whining about Aranda taking coaches/analyst. He’s doing his job. He’s supposed to go out and hire the best he can. If he thinks the best are at LSU and he can get them, that’s on our coach and athletic department for not being able to keep them.

If this rumor is true, he's offering an analyst a promotion with his program.
It's simple, we either offer him the same promotion (which he would probably accept) or wish him well. Analysts are not like acorns hoarded by squirrels indefinitely until they're needed. These guys have ambitions and goals. These analyst positions have high turnover.

Good move by Aranda. He knows how good Jorge really is. LSU needs to promote him ASAP and retain him

This. I would've thought that Orgeron would try to keep as much continuity among the offensive staff as possible. If we let Munoz go without much of a fight, I'm very confused. I think that Ensminger is gonna need help. There's more to it than just taking Brady's plays and regurgitating them.

I refuse to believe the board’s collective opinion on coaching hires given the recent history:
“Tom Herman is our man. We have to open the bank for him”
“JIMBEAUX, BABY!!!”
“I can’t believe Orgeron got the job!”
“Are you fricking kidding me!? He made ENSMINGER the OC!? We’re never going to compete!!”
We just destroyed college football with record stats and TOOK the national championship trophy. I’m good sitting by to wait and see what O does. My post-championship High is gonna be good for at least a year so I’m just going to let O do what O wants to do and trust his plan. If we go 9-3 or10-2 next season then great. Only way I am upset is if his hires result in the team only winning 7 or 8 games next fall.
I think we all need to just enjoy the season we just had and let O do his thing. I trust him.

We didn’t and wouldn’t have competed with E as the OC. No Brady, no championship. And still won’t.
