Yeah, I get that basketball played the whole season but this is an unprecedented situation. All the guys who'd get drafted are leaving regardless. What would it hurt to let the Mays and Taylors of the world have another year IF they even want to come back. It wouldn't be some massive number of players, and would let them finish their careers with a chance at the tourney.

So what about bubble teams? Northern Iowa was done with the MVC tourney and may or may not have still been alive. Do they get their guys back?
Also you say post-season play, does that include teams that could've been NIT bound? CBI bound? CIT bound?

But we didn't know which teams were gonna get at large bids nor which teams were going to the NIT. Thats 100 teams right there. You can't just take the top 100 because schools who won the regular season but dont make the NCAA get an auto bid to the NIT. We have no way of knowing who all those teams would have been

Spring sports, yes.

Giving basketball players another year when the vast majority missed only a game or two is stupid.
