There are just as many crackers playing the double-negative race card as anything, though. Go back and see how race was brought into this thread. It was by the anti-JJ crowd.

Who gives a frick and why do "you people" have to pick sides in everything? Why the hell is it so important for "your side" to be morally superior to them?
Stupid is stupid, no matter which QB is your pet.

I don't have a side in the matter. I think it is absurd to bring race into. This is why I called out the ones who brought it up. Seriously go back and look. There are several posters claiming that people are only supporting JJ because he is black. It was stated in response to one of my posts, even. It's childish and a sign of an inability to effectively debate the real issues.

Link? You know for a fact that all of these folks want him convicted in court because of his "African American-ness" or are you just out of ammo? It ain't your ethics being questioned.

How on Earth did you ever manage to get so much stupid into one post?
You know, I used to think you were better than this as a poster. No more.

His college football career? Really? That is it?
What was he planning to do, support himself for the rest of his life off of his college career?
he already has his degree, which is what will secure his earnings potential from here on out.
I tried to post this earlier, but the thread was busy with all of the douches being douchey:
Listen, my biggest issue with the possible reinstatement of JJ is this. As he is going through the legal process, he will no doubt have several meetings with his attorney, with the DA, with a judge, etc. etc. All of this meetings during the judicial process will most certainly take time away from his preparation. So he will be in no mental state of mind to play. But if he is reinstated (even if he doesn't start) he will be taking practice reps away from players that may need those reps (not no saying in place of JL or ZM). Also, the fact that he might be there for some practices, might not be there for others can create a big distraction for the other players, all of whom also want to have a great season. So by saying that Miles needs to take care of JJ (I know those weren't your exact words), you are basically saying that JJ's desire to be with teammates should be more important to Miles than the wants and desires of the other 100 or so members of the team. Miles' job is to do what is in the best interest of the team...not one individual player.

At this point, I don't care if he plays another snap. I don't want to see the guy get railroaded for something so minor. I agree that actions have consequences, but even if he were 100% guilty, the consequences in the form of suspensions and backlash far outweigh the severity of the act.

So, I guess you want him suspended for this whole year so that he can be our starting quarterback as a redshirt senior. I'm okay with that.

Not really. His weekly entertainment will take more time than his legal preparation on his part. There is no need to suspend JJ all season for this unless it can be proved he tried to kill the guy ,and has a boat load of hidden character issues no one seems to know about.
