Miles didn't suspend him when he got in trouble. He waited until he was charged. That is enough to suspend him until those charges are lifted. If you wait until the legal process plays out you put the team at risk while waiting what could be the entire season. Then what happens if he gets convicted? Even then do you argue he might win on appeal. Miles has to do what is in the best interest of the team.

Jester... Where does this "year long suspension" come from??? It s an "indefinite" suspension meaning there is NO definite time for ANY reinstatement!!! Could be tomorrow or it could be never!!! It is INDEFINITE!!!

Right, Tiger Knight!! Totally agree!!! I am neither pro or con on this issue.....but the actions taken by the university were totally appropriate given the facts given!!

I'm just going off of the statements of several of the idiots in this thread that want him kicked out of school, etc.
Felony/misdemeanor means very little to me. Drunk driving is a very selfish and serious crime.
