I really hate bama more than the big ten.put there strength of schedule beside Wisconsin had absolutly nothing to gain by playing a conference championship game but everything to lose I don't think it's fair to think if they wouldn't have had a conference champ game they would be in the final four and if anyone thinks bama would have for sure beat uga in the championship game not so fast look at there last 3 sec games they have progressively gotten worse each game starting with us my point why even have a conference championship game if all it can do is hurt you and not help.

Subjectively Bama is top 4 agree

No...Auburn BEAT them, they didn't eliminate them.
Auburn beating Bama took the control out of Bama's hands. They were not in, if it wasnt for help from other teams. They got the help, therefore, wiggled their way back into the playoffs.
Why does a loss to Auburn eliminate Bama, but a 30 point loss to Iowa not eliminate tOSU.

The committee showed Conf Championships aren't end all be all last year when they let OSU get in over PSU....and it was their own conference winner.

Bama gets a Mulligan without even winning their division. When has that happened to a single other team since the BCS started?
I'll hang up and listen.
Dude, it happened last season.

We wouldn’t know because they weren’t able to risk another loss in a championship game, while others did have to risk it and some paid the price for it.
By "risking" it
We saw that the #4 and #2 team weren't good enough to be in the playoffs.
Wisconsin and Ohio State would get skull fricked by Clemson, just like how Ohio State did last year.
Bama will make it a close game, you can guarantee that. Closer than OSU and Wiscy would've.

Well, it did and it didn't. Penn State didn't have to face tOSU in the playoffs.
I'm okay with the "put Alabama in, anyway" if the SEC Champs for some wild, crazy fricking reason aren't in (which would apply to tOSU as well last year).
That's a different kind of Mulligan. The Bama Mulligan has only been applied to Bama, and now it is twice.

No, it did. You said to name a team that didn't win their division and made the playoffs. I named you one from just last season.
You just want to twist it to fit your Bama hate narrative. I hate Bama too, but it is what it is and they rightfully have a spot in.

In case I haven't been clear - a team should not get into the playoffs with its conference champion. If the champ isn't in for other reason (non-conference losses being the overwhelming factor), then I'm okay with an "eyeball" test.
The only times a conference champ has gotten into the BCS or playoffs, and another team from that conference also made it, the non-champ was Bama both times. It's bullshite.

Or its possible that a conference has 3 really good teams. One of them only lost one game all season, and didnt make the conference championship game. Its still possible they are one of the best 4 teams.
Let's say this happened...
Wisconsin went undefeated and won their division. Ohio State had 1 loss all season, to Penn State. Penn State lost 1 Big 10 game and another OOC game, thus putting them against Wisconsin in the conference championship game.
Wisconsin beats Penn State in CC game.
Are you saying Wisconsin and Ohio State shouldn't be in the playoffs?

No. Under this scenario, I'm saying Wisconsin should be in the playoffs and the other 2 should not. The issue has been decided on the field.

And this year, the committee, AP poll and coaches poll got it right too.
I know man, Alabama was dominant against LSU, Miss State, and Auburn! A truly special November that screamed "playoff team".

Why was Auburn one of the best 4 teams in the country and better than Alabama last week but not this week? Meanwhile Alabama was not one of the top 4 teams last week but they are now despite not doing anything but have Nick Saban make an appearance on college gameday.

Well under this scenario (with everything else that's happened this season being the same), then tOSU would clearly be one of the 4 best teams.
So you aren't wanting the 4 best teams in the playoffs, which is bullshite.
There is no requirement that says you have to win your conference to be one of the playoff teams. Its not even possible to do, because there are more conference champs than playoff teams.

Because Auburn has now lost 3 games. Is it that hard to comprehend?

So Auburn should have declined the invite to the SEC championship game? Evidently would’ve benefited from not playing.
What did Alabama do that proved that they are better than Auburn when they were not last week?

Come on man....listen to what you are saying. Its not realistic.
Let's say your stupid arse scenario happens. Bama plays in the SECCG because Auburn "turns it down." Bama beats UGA and becomes a 1 loss SEC Champ....they are in.
Ohio State as a 2 loss Big 10 champ probably gets in over a 2 loss Auburn, because their are more compareable to each other.
So no....Auburn needed to win the SECCG to get in.

They didnt need the SECCG. Remember resume doesnt matter. Auburn was a top 4 team until they lost and proved they werent
