LSU vs. Ohio St. 1988

There were whispers of challenging for a national championship. Bobby Olive ended that. I actually got physically sick.

I honestly think we lost to Florida the next week because mentally, the team was still standing on the sideline in Columbus trying to figure out what happened. We had no energy and didn't seem to want to be there.

Made the Earthquake Game all the sweeter. We were really on the verge of a disastrous season going into that Auburn game.

Yes, that AU game was so bad that I even listened to Finebaum for the first time, b/c he did a phone interview with a retired Big 10 official who had 25 years experience as a guest. The official said after reviewing the game that he did not watch live, it was the best example he could give of a game where the officials should be investigated.

I remember that Finebaum show, and supposedly the Ref from Ark in that crew was shown the door next year? Retired by choice or other? SEC didn't dig into it. Someone here posted in a thread back then, was friends with an SEC Ref not on that game, that told him some interesting opinions.

Like our DOJ with Brennan, Comey, RR, Strozk, Page, our inside info stock dumping Pols, etc..corruption..and no one even cares. Sweep under rug.to avoid black eye.
