Closer than you might have thought??? Again, UNC is clearly better and deeper than LSU, but again, the post was not about who the better more talented team is...it is about a puncher's chance with a POY shooting guard that is pretty damn special!
And btw, imo, MT lights up Danny Green for 20+ if he guards him.
Teams that L fear for LSU are big, strong, physical defensive minded teams with depth...UNC has 3 or 4 of these, just not all!

true - but hey this LSU team has better shooting than the one that beat #1 Duke and # 2 Texas 3 years ago. I think that Duke team was much more heralded than this North Carolina team. Its not going to shock anyone if we were able to beat a NC team after beating Butler.

I DID watch MT light up UK for 23 on Friday and GT hold the SEC leading scorer to 8.
That was the only meaningful of the past 2 1/2 weeks.
And if you think Lawson is at 100%, you are totally clueless.

I agree but if we lose to Butler with 3 Freshmen, 1 spohomore and 1 junior with not one person over 6'8", then the entire crux of my point will deemed useless (which it may be anyway) and the SEC REALLY is not very good.
I know one thing that is pretty much a given when it comes to NCAA tourney time...throw out the conference records and see who has senior leadership, plays great defense and has a go to guy (or two). I think we fit the bill for this and will give UNC all they want on Saturday.
Do we get over the hump...who knows, but I will take this group and go to battle any day of the week with anyone.

doesnt have to be 100% never said he would be....LSU doesnt have a guard that can keep up with him at 90%.......
