So the university of North Carolina is playing a men's basketball game AT UAB this Sunday.

Why can't LSU ever get a game like this at home?

When's the last time we had a duke, UNC, UCLA, or Kansas type at the pmac?

I'd like to see LSU get better before we have those teams pay a visit.

The coach at UAB was an assistant at UNC last year. I think Roy is doing him a solid.

UAB's head coach worked under Roy Williams for a long time before taking the UAB job. Roy's just hooking him up. UNC did play at UAB a few years ago in the NIT, I remember it being a huge deal for UAB.

We had Arizona come in under Brady and UCONN came to play while TJ was here (might have also been Brady)

We've had a couple of name teams come in, and win or lose, it always seems to help the team. I think that fans getting to see LSU play someone big is a big plus; it always generates excitement in the program. And considering where the basketball program is, a competitive loss to a ranked team is seen as a good sign (as compared to football, where people go nuts when we lose). And if/when we win, it always seems to propel us to big things.

I wish we had some marquee teams coming in this season.

This definitely KY. I think that's enough for now.

We played #10 Marquette at home 2 seasons ago and went to their place last year. They've went to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 the last two years.
