I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty and abundant the ladies are in N. Louisiana. And yes, they love my New Orleans accent.....

One of the first jobs I worked on after graduating was a dept store in Monroe. My superintendent got an apartment at a college complex near ULM facing the pool.

Everytime I'd go up there to make a site visit, we'd always end up at his place sitting on the balcony.

Fred's was north of campus. I think it was between State and Aster, West of Highland. Or was that Murphy's?

Just not sure. I've slept since.

Wait a minute - wasn't Fred's a Tigerland Bar? Next to Sports (Illustrated)?

Bob Pettit then.

A friend of mine was the mgr at Chelsea's and there was plenty of talent. NLU had some great talent back then. Was there 87 to 91. Football championship my fresh year. Good times.

Btw. Here was no Fred's anywhere.

Whether you have heard of it or not Freds was there. It closed in the late eighties. I am going to text an old buddy of mine from those days and see if he remembers the street

They would come out of the wood work when school started. You would just see hot chicks everywhere. It was great when I was there in the early to mid 90s.
