the guy sitting next to me was wearing ULL colors and actually played for ULL as well. He's an LSU fan and family has season tickets, but this day he sported his team's colors. There were a few other ULL guys on the row beneath. No static with any of them. Good guys.

Most ULL fans hate LSU, but what really pisses them off is that most LSU fans don't care about ULL.

As current editor of The Daily Reveille, I (Nicholas Persac, mass communication senior) can assure you this letter was NOT made up by a Reveille employee.
Authors of all letters to the editor are confirmed to the best of our ability, and letters are edited only for space issues.
If the letter is offensive, rather than editing out portions of the letter, we simply won't run it. We do edit some grammar and spelling (one exception is when people write in saying how Reveille doesn't use proper grammar or spelling; we leave those letters "as is").
However, this letter was not edited down due to space limitations. The author did not originally include any specific incidents.
Lastly, I invite any and all of you to submit your views as a letter to the editor.
Letters to the editor may be submitted on our Web site HERE(or by going to lsureveille.com and clicking "submit a letter" in the light purple navigation bar on the top left).
