ULL eliminates itself

They will destroy any chance of winning the regional today if Robichaix throws his son today. What's the difference eliminate Sunday or today. If they win today and Robichaux beats loser of SH/LSU then they at least have a shot! If your 4 or 5 can't beat JSU then you don't deserve to win anyway! Cajuns will probably hit 5-7 home runs today if wind is blowing out!

You are wrong. You have to win game 2, before you can play game three. Rob. is a very good coach, and knows this. How in the hell could anyone explain goin 0-2 with your best pitcher not throwing?

The goal is not to win just 1 game, the goal is to win the regional. You give yourself next to zero chance if you throw your ace vs. the worst team. This much should be obvious. If you cant beat a SWAC team with someone other than your ace then you deserve to be out of the regional, period.

You are missing the obvious point. You have ZERO % chance of winning the tournament if you lose the first two games. You chances go up if you get to game three.

This.. back in the 1993 CWS Texas A$M had arguably the best pitching staff in the CWS and the coach held back the ace for the third game (4 days after he won the opening game and A$M lost the second game to us. A$M lost game three with the best pitcher in the series throwing one game.
