I'm 100% in for that game, btw.

I'm either hitting the ULL game, or the UNO one.

They did have sub par talent, is stromile swift making a bang in the nba right now? where is jabari smith? Big baby is crying on the sidelines about to be cut after the end of this season. Where is Tyrus Thomas at? other than the occasional dunk on ESPN once every blue moon. Thomas showed up in about 4 games for LSU and all of them were on national tv and that's what made him a hyped up nba pick!

I'm sure in the past and in the future Tennessee will travel to Middle Tennessee State to play a game cause they are not scared of competition like some people!

LSU did not easily win that game by 18 points. Go research the report from that game since that's all you are good for "researching!" I'm sure it reads, "LSU pulls away with 5-8 min left in the game." In this case it was after their leading scorer was hurt. The funniest moment of that game is when "Big baby" was about to dunk on a break away and he almost killed himself by getting pinned on the rim.

Anyway, lets move on to the lost to Tulane. Right there you made my point! LSU coach promise at the beginning of the season was to "redeem" themselves as a elite basketball program. LSU lost to Tulane last year.

Where are they on their schedule this season? To prove that you are a good team or a improving team, wouldn't you go against a team that defeated you the season before?

In LSU case I guess not! They do what they always do and that is HIDE FROM THEM!

What is your point? These guys were good college players, and that is all that matters at this level. I feel sorry for you if you truly believe these guys were "sub par" players at the college level. If that's the case, then Brady must be one hell of a coach to accomplish those things.

Oh yeah, great assumption with absolutely no facts. Is Florida going to travel to FAU? Does Bama play at Troy?

Tulane isn't even that good this season. Hell, ULL is better than them. Your scheduling philosophy makes very little sense. If a team plays you close or beats you the year before, then you must play them the next season?

Man whatever! You trying to make a ugly pig look pretty by putting lipstick on it! I'm through with you.

LSU struggled against Jackson State 1st game of the season! Case Closed! The fact of the matter is that LSU baskeball is not elite in this state like you think they are and they are scared! That's why they do what they do, play "DODGEBALL," with state schools that have the potential to beat them.

It's Keep up the good work!

I'm laughing at you too. hahaha where you at the game? Jackson State had the lead well into the second half? hahahahahaha, you are a damn idiot!

oooohhh but LSU supposed to be good and play contenders. Jackson State, Alcorn, and Grambling are true contenders let me tell ya!

CUPCAKES! Then they play good teams like Texas A&M and Utah and get their arse handed to them! LMAO. Laugh at that!

Goodbye!

I agree that we've played some cupcakes.

But you closing up shop after one game (and the first game, nonetheless) of the season is what I find funny.

You do realize that LSU was down by only 2 points against A&M with three minutes left in the game? According to your logic, ULL got their arse handed by LSU a few years ago. You can't have it both ways...

Boston College lost to Harvard last night, is it case closed for them as well? Have you even paid attention to some of the upsets from this season alone?

Name me one other state that even comes close to matching LSU in basketball? NCAA tournament appearances, final four appearances, NBA players, etc. If you combined all the other state schools, you might be able to make a good case. Idiot.

No LSU is not in a position not to travel to other state schools in basketball

Judging by the fact that we don't do it, I guess we are in that position, but glad you can make that decision for the university

They talk about in the news how state school athetics are struggling like UNO who is considering canceling their athetic program. Everybody knows LSU is a big attraction to any school in this area so why don't they help them out and play a game somewhere else.

So LSU gets criticized for not giving money to other instate schools? Makes it easy to live with, having to deal with all the penis envy all the time

I know for a fact that UL lafayette offered LSU a 2 for 1 deal before this season to play them for the next 3 seasons, meaning LSU would play UL at home in 08 and in 09. In return LSU would have to travel to Lafayette for a game in 2010 but was declined!

I know for a fact LSU offered Duke and North Carolina a home and home and they declined, there see how easy that was

Isn't the LSU athletic department the only one in the state that doesn't rely on public funding? If so, let's just go ahead and assume that schools like ULL, UNO, etc are raking in LSU's portion. It just sounds like everyone wants to be bailed out these days...

It was declined just as it should have been. If LSU travels in anything anywhere in this state besides to Tulane, I will find a new team to support. LSU needs to play lesser conf. teams in Baton Rouge, otherwise don't play them. Don't lower yourself to the level of ULL or LA Tech by giving them exactly what they want, excitement in their city because tLSU is in town.
