Breaking News: Georgia defense will try its best to stop LSU’s offense

The offensive staff has to start calling rb screens and quick slants to beat the inside pressure and delayed blitzes or it'll be a long night
That’s not how you beat what Arkansas threw at us. They intelligently took away everything we like to do by getting a lot of players in short zones, who also spied the QB, and rushing numbers. Slants and screens would have been destroyed by their zone unless very well executed.
What they left open was deep sidelines, and we failed to attack it. I also don’t think Georgia will use this, at least not as a mainstay. I think Kirby will use a lot of man with single safety support. He will try to bottle Daniels in the pocket the way Aranda likes to do. Georgia will rely on their superior DB talent just the way LSU has done throughout the Chavis and Aranda years. It only works against LSU level talent if you have NFL starters at every DB position, and Georgia does.
They will likely strangle us. In fact, they WILL strangle us, unless Daniels puts on the Superman cape the way DeShaun Watson did to Bama a few years back.

True. Did a pretty good job "matching physicality" on Nov 5, though...

LSU will use the same scheme Missouri did vs UGA.
