JD5 can't hold onto the ball as he did against the Pigs. The OL is only blocking for 3-4 seconds for what the play is called for. We had wide open WRs during the game and JD5 didn't pull the trigger.
Kelly said that will not happen again and I believe him, they'll work it out. I hope everyone tries to copy what the Pigs did!

This is 100% correct

UGA did not use the same scheme that Auburn & LSU used on Bama in the SECCG and got smoked.

You don’t think anyone thought of this until the Arkansas game?

Well, Kelly said it won’t happen again. Let’s hope he’s right.

The bigger question is how will UGA protect protect Bennett from HP40? I like our chances against them. Their defense is great but I think our offense will be up for the challenge and JD5's mobility will cause problems for them.

If Joe Brady had all the answers he would still be employed by the Carolina Panthers.

While he’s at it he can call Joey B and see if he’s free on December 3rd.

Unlike 2012 NC game, we have a coaching staff that will likely be able to adapt a game plan.

doubt theyll want to give up the run that easily.

LSU shot themselves in the foot more than some brilliant scheme. Maybe Im wrong, but I would have kept pounding the RBs in the middle from Q1.

The only time I've seen Smart in recent years change their general defensive approach is when they played LSU in the 2019 championship game. They tried to rush 3 and drop everyone into zone. It didn't work. All it did was allow Burrow 15 seconds wait for WRs to eventually come open.

I'm sure UGA is going to incorporate some of the same approach Arkansas did against LSU. But by and large, they didn't get to where they are by copying other team's defenses from week to week. They do what they do because they feel they have the best players in college football. It's up to YOU to prove you can beat it.
