UGA-LSU will be a better game than people think

Because of the UF game, I know most people probably think UGA is going to waltz into BR now and dominate LSU, but as someone who attended the UGA-Vandy game last night, I wholeheartedly disagree.
Every single intangible I can think of is in LSU's favor.
For starters, it's at LSU. If this game were in Athens, I would agree with the majority that UGA rolls. But it's not. I don't care who you are, playing at LSU is rarely a cakewalk for a visiting team.
LSU will (or at least, should) be pissed and out for bear. On the flip-side, UGA was probably getting themselves all hyped up for a big top-5 match-up. I think LSU's loss to Florida lets their guard down a little bit.
As I said, I was at the UGA-Vandy game last night. And I'm telling you, as a UGA grad, I am not pleased with how this team is carrying themselves. IMO, they are asking to be upset. Sloppy play. Cocky attitudes. 13 penalties for 115 yards. They're riding high on this #2 ranking. It was offensive talent alone that powered them to a big win over an over-matched Vandy squad. Believe it or not, Vandy won the TOP game.
Finally, UGA has not had to play a true 4-quarter game all season long. And they haven't played anyone yet who can play a lick of defense. We have no idea how this UGA team will handle itself in a streetfight. In case you're curious about the last time I felt like this, click here. Spoiler...right before UGA got their arse kicked at Auburn last season.
LSU on the other hand, has already been in a couple of dogfights. They know what it feels like to get punched in the nose, whether they ended up winning or not.
On paper, UGA leaves BR with a win. But we all know "on paper" doesn't mean shite in the SEC.
Here's looking forward to a great game on Saturday.

We always have close great games . Our wideouts were open , but we have to fix our offensive line . Here’s to great Saturday Dawgs !

If we come out strong, I think we can make a game of it. In the end, I think our inability to move the ball when we need to will doom us. The UGA coaches will make adjustments. Will ours? If not, that will be the difference.

That's why the Florida game was a must win (if you want to compete for playoff spots).
I could see us beating Georgia, we'd likely lose to Bama, but the A&M games would be for a playoff spot, imv.
Not anymore. We don't have the IQ in the press box.

I could definitely see it being a close game, we would have to come out of the gate guns blazing

im just glad Michel is gone because that type of back is killing us this season.

Oh this will be a battle no doubt. We'll fight.
Just don't think it'll be enough. It'll be a one score game heading into the 4th. Just don't think we have the coaching to pull us across the finish line.

LSU will get killed or lose a tight game but they will lose

No it won’t.
None of that shite you posted is remotely true.
Is it at night? Is it on CBS?

Well, unfortunately for LSU, UGA's backfield is loaded. DeAndre Swift is the total package, and sometimes the running game actually seems to get better when Holyfield and Herrien come into the game.
However, what LSU fans may not be aware of is that UGA had a huge loss on the OL last night against Vandy (Solomon Kindley). Don't know what his status is yet, but he had to be carted off the field, so I doubt he's back for LSU. That's in addition to a bevy of other OL injuries. UGA is in a depleted OL situation similar to LSU. I don't see them just blowing LSU's front seven away.

Georgia is so untested this year, playing absolutely nobody and next week will be the middle of October.
We'll find out how fricking good they are.
Schedule to this point
They are about to get hit the mouth Saturday for the first time in a month if you count S. Carolina as being any good.

Looks really weak and overrated.

I think most people have always expected it to be a pretty close game
Posted on 10/7/18 at 1:50 pm to UGATiger26
It will be better only if LSU wins.
Posted on 10/7/18 at 1:56 pm to UGATiger26
You will have no trouble with our D Line, I promise.
