Emery has a year to go I think. Needs some serious playbook study sessions.

I hope he sticks it out. Most of the time, the #2 RB in the country doesn’t want to come in and sit and learn. He has a lot of natural talent, it will just take some time for him to catch up on the other aspects.

The dogging of Emery is asinine.

He just isn’t getting very many touches because CEH has played great for the most part. That’s not a knock on anyone.

All Emery needs to do is be a little patient.

Every back on the roster would look great w some of those holes

CEH TD from inside the 5 was next level though

I have a feeling next year will feature the running game (TDP, Emery & maybe Zach Evans?). Maybe 60-40 run-pass.

I could see Brennan as a sterling game manager with a dominating run game.

They can all run, but blocking is what get you playing time along with knowing the offense inside and out. Right now that is Clyde.

The O Line has their best game in years, a freshman running back has a great run and now he is your favorite. We have three good running backs, all have a place in our system.
Life is great!

Will be interesting to see this group next year for sure! Interesting to see what will happen with Curry. Surprised he hasn’t see any snaps or anything. Dude looks big. Also will be interesting to see if we can grab a RB recruit to add to the group.

No need to rush the young man. Our QB and the rest of the veterans & staff are trying to make a championship run. If we fall short and lose a few games I think we see more of both. Now that it’s crunch time in conference play and one missed assignment can end championship hopes they will have to 100% earn their way on the field. I’m sure Davis earned a few Carries with that run but it was the right play call that any of the 3 break it imo. Packages they 100% know may get some looks for both freshman. Obviously ball security will need to be a focus for all of em as well. Burrow will send that arse to the bench if they miss assignments lol.

I would say if Terrell Davis and Eddie Price (may he RIP) had a child, it would be Davis-Price.

I am plenty excited for Emery’s career at LSU. But I’m hopeful that now this delusional “Emery needs to be getting more touches and CEH less touches” idea can finally die for good

Only the idiots thought that anyway

yes, but he hasn't been as solid as TDP. aside from "breaking the ankles" of a 1-AA corner, he hasn't been as electric as advertised. ball security and screen pass hands have been an issue.

CEH wowed us Saturday. Maturity has arrived. Picks up blitzes. Accelerates now when he sees the hole. Falls forward. Jump cut is just stupid great. Catches the ball.

Leads the SEC in yards breaking tackles. It has all come together for him. I have been a doubter for years. No longer. He has made me a fan.

Edwards Helaire is perfect for this offense and can do it all. Does not get enough credit for his ability to make people miss and he also has some power that was evident Sat night.

Davis-Price will be a stud before he's done

You can see glimpses with Emery, I think he will have a big game somewhere down the stretch. Just needs to know what to do every play. Has good shiftiness, needs to learn to set up his blocks.

Emery is a great back, he has it all , vison, speed, and muscle.

He was about to have a huge running play but one of the offensive lineman totally blew his block and the Florida defensive player got to emery from behind right before the hole opened up. Go back and look at the play.

If that lineman did his job, Emery was about to break at least a 30 yard run or more.

Emery made a freshman mistake it happens. I’m not sure if it was a designed screen to him originally because how would he miss that? Maybe joe checked to the screen and Emery missed it idk. We can’t be worried about a transfer and put a kid in that misses an assignment that gets joe knocked out. One mistake could end our run. If he’s smart he will just study harder and be patient. Next year I believe with Myles at qb and TDP and Emery Having settled in we will see the offense lean more on the RBs. Their time is coming
