I've said this before, and I'm the biggest critic of these type of statements.. some dudes have a knack or a nose for the football... like Charles Woodson... Mathieu has that. There's no way to measure it. Won't show up on a box score. Won't show up on a 40. But Mathieu always knows where the ball is, and he's usually by it.
This.

It will be interesting to see what his measurables are by his senior year as far as him being big enough for the NFL

He will never see his senior season at LSU.... $$$

Mathieu is a prime example of a 'natural' on the field; you have to love his talent and enthusiasm!! Remember, when he first committed to LSU, he was nowhere near being a big time recruit-cudos to Miles for recognizing a true talent...

In a word...."Hell No!"

This type of post proves you are at least a freshman at LSU and have been involved in Tiger Athletics at least 4 years!

Dare I say TM7 may end up being a better college football player than PP7?

Dare I say he already is?

I've been going to LSU games for 35 years, and I think I feel qualified enough to tell you to GTFO.

Exactly I have been saying that he reminded me of Polamalu since last year and that seems to be the closest comparison. Though I love all of our DBs - Reid, Loston, Simon, Claiborne, Taylor and even Brooks on STs.

It all goes back to the recent Honey Badger thread....awesomeness. TM7 is the person our parents warned us about as kids.
