Mason Smith looked as advertised against his limited time in the FSU game before injury. Imagine you have 2 impact players possibly on defense in Perkins and Smith. You simply can't overlook how dominating a defense can be when you have an unblockable DT controlling the LOS. You have to wonder if he was as advertised what games like TAMU would've been like.

Not sure I'd put receivers with 1000 yard seasons already as "rising" superstars but I guess I still see the argument if they arent household names nationally necessarily yet.

I’m assuming they already consider Perk as a superstar. Idk how Big Will isn’t on this list I think he is going to have a monster year.
