Epps and Mays. Mays was very, very raw last year and the beginning of this year too. Wade has honed him down into a very good point guard. Epps was never really raw, but Wade has absolutely maximized his potential this year. WE DANCIN

All of them, it's night and day with all of the carry overs. Except Sampson. He's going to transfer

Mays was lights out tonight, played with control. Got to give him the props, as I’ve been critical of his ability to finish at the rim, and his control, which was mature tonight...

I’m pulling for Sampson big time but seems like ever since his injury early into the season he’s never gotten back to being a consistent player...dude has a world of potential...

If he's not finding minutes this year it's going to be impossible next year. The writing is on the wall Hope he does well where ever he goes.

He added that new spin move off of the pick and roll, it worked well for him tonight.

Sims is the one that really blows my mind. You could always see the potential in Mays.

He's done well with the entire team. I heard it on the radio yesterday and it hit me...WE LOST 15 STRAIGHT GAMES LAST SEASON! Holy shite, and we only won like 10 games. It's a he'll of an accomplishment, with basically the same players from last year besides a couple guys wade brought in. Great job by wade.

Props to Mays. The last 5 games he's been money. And I gave him as much shite as anyone earlier in the season.

The new strength and conditioning coach has done an amazing job of reshaping players’ bodies and improving fitness over the summer. All of them have improved strength and fitness level, but last year’s players in particular. That did not happen under Jones. Players deserve credit too.
Sims has really worked hard and changed the most. He’s stronger and a lost faster than last year. He needs to be, because he’s undersized for his position
Reath and Epps have more hand strength, and you can easily see that they hold onto the ball way better.
They also do loads of drills where they really have to bang their bodies into one another. I watched some pre-season practices and was impressed with how hard the players went at it. It’s not just building up strength and fitness, it’s also developing the mindset for being physically tough. That’s been hard for Epps to learn, because he doesn’t like physical play.

Epps made an NCAA tourney, played in front of some huge crowds the Simmons year, was just unfortunate with the disaster last year and not having anyone truly develop him. But i bet he looks back at his time positively especially with a solid end to this year. He’ll make some $ overseas

I don’t think his role would have ever included an All-SEC type year even with Wade all 4 years. He’s improved each year

Mays has the highest ceiling with his size and speed. He might shock some people in the end.

And Reath. If this is the player development we can expect from WW, we're gonna be scary.

There was an incident with whoever LSU was playing a couple of games ago where Epps got pissed. Since then, he's been playing like we had hoped he'd play from the beginning of the season. Too bad it took this long.

Sampson may have talent but he's never been a dependable player for any stretch of games, and that was even before his injury. I wish him the best, but if he stays he'll only get mop up time next season.
