Two LSU midweek opponents win big games today

Central Arkansas beat Vandy and Lamar beat A&M. We play both of those teams midweek in March.

I assume we play ULM at some point this season. They beat Miss State tonight.

Combine that with the win over #1 Southern and we're a midweek win over Duquesne from being able to beat FSU

I see where the board is going with this and the transitive property does not apply to midweek baseball games…

No...but they do figure into the various computer power rankings formulas that help shape post-season seedings and such. Our mid-week opponents having some feathers in their caps is a positive in that regard.

I was told only Paul Maineiri lost midweek games and it means you are the worst coach of all time when you do.
