That's how many teams we finished better than this year.

We got to root for the Tigers in another natty competing at the highest level. Again, 297 fan bases didn't have the chance to do that.

Congrats to the baseball team, CPM, and the athletic department.

We got a lot of pop coming back next year, going to be another fun bunch to watch.

I get that we are better than all of those teams but I assume we put close to the most time, money, and effort into our team than any in the nation. 290 of those teams should not even be able to compete with us. Great season though.

this.

it feels bad for a night, but next February, it will be a beautiful day at the Box for baseball (or we'll be listening to Lyn and Ben), packed 10,000 strong against a nonconference opponent like nowhere else, and we'll be expecting to get back to Omaha as we always do, trying for that record-setting 7th national seed in a row.

We weren't winning those two games without Lange and Walker. Florida pitchers throw a lot of strikes in the nineties, something our pitcher other than those two I mentioned don't do.
