Where were you sitting last night, Shreveport? Most people that complain don't even go to games. Probably not the case with you, but is almost invariably the case with others.

We let Tulane use Tiger Stadium in 2005. Maybe we could play a home game in Yulman in 2018.

This has been beaten to death but the stadium atmosphere sucks. Last night in the second half I think the band played maybe 4 or 5 times. Some of the best moments as a kid I remember was from the band leading the crowd in either the pregame song in the 4th or everyone singing Hey Baby as the game was in hand. Getting the crowd going before each down when we are on D. Now it’s loud generic piped in shite. Which while loud doesn’t build any organic crowd noise or get people engaged. Loud piped in music stops and the noise stops.
The availability of games in HD will cause crowds to be smaller and I get that. But those in charge have done nothing to maintain that great organic atmosphere that used to exist almost every Saturday night. If you want loud piped in music being played that doesn’t add to the atmosphere or engage the fans, just go watch the game at some bar. Same damn thing.

I've seen a lot of threads and people bashing the student section. Yes they leave early, but they at least show up. I'm tired of looking at those empty corporate seats in the 50 yd line. If the corporate people show up, they leave just as early, if not earlier than then students.

It should read "Deaf Valley" but I agree it was more like "Empty Valley" yesterday.
