I'll agree with the OP on this one. If you are going to do a promotion, do it right and let them in free. Most industrious people will be able to score tickets for less than $5 outside the stadium before the game anyway, so it's not like a $5 ticket is some major score.

Let em in for free...it's not like it is game 7 of the world series.

yeah, I'm with you.

seems like dedicated appreciations like this are typically on the house. I just think it would be a better gesture all around, but I'm not complaining or anything.
