Didn't age well?
Out of the games we've seen so far OU is not the #2 team.

How's that for being exposed?

Tulane is a solid football team. They won't beat Oklahoma today, but they're really tough and won't be an easy out in any game this season.

Remember when Rattler came in at the end of the LSU-OU game and was destroyed

What a gutsy effort by the Sooners to overtake this scrappy bunch of upstarts from Nola

Wow! You really have to tip your hat to the Sooners! Not playing their best and still gonna get a big win on opening weekend.

Playoff contender to be sure!! So much heart and fighting through adversity

if it weren't for the 3 fumbles by the Tulane QB this game would be a lot closer

Credit to the Sooners suffocating defense for forcing those turnovers right ?

1 was bad handling of the snap, another was just poor ball security while the QB was running down the field

the 3rd was actually a legit sack on the QB from behind which is what i'll give to OU

This is why preseason rankings mean absolutely nothing.

I would be worried right now if I were an OU fan. Their offense will be fine despite Rattler throwing a couple of picks, but their improved defense was supposed to be what made them a threat this year. It’s not even close to living up to that billing today.

Toolame has a seriously good head coach in Willie Fritz and Chip Long was the guy who got the offense really rolling in Memphis a few years ago. They have been trending upward for a few years now, but there is no excuse for OU getting gashed by them like this all the way into the 4th quarter. They have laid a massive egg today.

Living in Oklahoma, all I’ve heard this off-season is how bad they beat Florida. They also claim even though Florida had players out, I had no impact on the game.

Somehow, Fritz is going to have spent his entire career without coaching at a major program.
