The thing that pisses me off is the 27 minutes before the comeback. We shouldn’t have been down 18 to begin with

Team needed a loss like this,
They can’t expect to play like shite for a 5-10 min (or 37:46 in Mizzou’s case) and just be able to turn it on and win.
They need to be focused for a complete game.

I was just so dumbfounded at Tremont Waters when he tried the alley. Like that play was very unnecessary. Give it to Naz, cause he has the advantage inside, and 2 of their really good players fouled out, so he’ll draw contact and be able to make it a 3 point lead at the line

The last 3 or 4 games these guys haven't played their best. It's been a long season so far for a lot of them, especially the freshmen. I'd have to include Taylor too since he is new to Wade's system. These guys have had a lot thrown at them in a very short period of time. Basically they have had 2 years worth of knowledge and coaching as Wade is trying to curve the learning process. These guys are hitting that proverbial wall. This will pass. They will be even better once they get their excitement back and start playing with more emotion which will boost their energy. They've been just grinding through these last few games. It's just a little wall they have run into mentally, they will knock it down and start rolling like they can. A lot of young freshmen go through this. This team will be hungrier, more passionate and stronger as a team. They will get better, we ain't seen nothing yet.

Agreed, our defense the whole game reminded me of the second half against Georgia. It's too late in the season for this to still be happening so frequently.
It's very simple, we allowed the Piggies to get by our perimeter D way too easily off the dribble forcing early help and frequent kicks to wide open shooters or alley oops...again and again.
