What if, just what if this was all a well orchestrated plan by LSU? Suspend Wade to appease the national media because do we really need Wade to beat 0-17 Vandy at home? NO! Have Wade release his statement afterwards. LSU leaks through local media that it’s premature Wade has coached his last game and they hope a resolution can be made between the two.

Fast forward to this upcoming week. Wade is reinstated LSU puts out a statement that the parties have met on the matter and Wade is back as the coach. They’ll cooperate with all parties involved but can’t speak directly on the matter due to it being a federal investigation.

Boom Wade’s back next Friday for the SEC Tournament!!! #BootUp

I would love to trust the process, but Alleva and Alexander’s process typically involves anything that is the absolute worst possible thing for LSU

Wade will not be back next week, or probably ever.

If you trust F King and Alleva, you’re a fool. Disaster after disaster, never a good decision.

The most f'ed part is Alleva, by doing what he did he has basically admitted guilt in a circumstancial way. Then says this in his statement:

"As we have done since media reports first surfaced months ago, we are closely coordinating with the NCAA with every step."

He cant possibly act like he suspended wade because he would not visit with them, because they have obviously spoke on the issue before. And if in fact he allowed wade to lie to him instead of actually doing damage control months ago, then he deserves every bit of the blame.

Notice none of the other schools and characters are sayin shite. But also ESPN are not pumping the old pieces on Kansas and Zion.

What a CIRCUS

Wade's on tape offering to pay players and their families. He's done.

They poorly orchestrated the Miles situation.

They poorly orchestrated “the search”

This is not good people.

The much more plausible scenario is that they are as weak as advertised and caved, as everyone suspects, and then leaked the meeting story to Dellenger to cover their own arse (no debating this part). Then after seeing the blowback someone else in the admin, who may have disagreed with everything to begin with, leaks to local media that Wade may not be done here.

Never heard anything about paying players... just an offer. Offer could be a whole lot things. Obviously it’s probably what we’re all thinking but if the recordings are all there is Wade and Co can make a strong defense case if/when he’s actually under investigation.

As for the OP, I keep telling myself this is the plan. However, knowing the track record of the two guys making the decisions I’m not overly confident

You're giving Alleva way too much credit.

Giving that toad any credit is too much, btw.

This is what happens when you coach and pr puppet are not on the same page...

Plausible deniability + not enough evidence + time = no more scandal.
You would think our AD would know this...but now he will go along with the media narrative that he folded to and act like hes some ambassador of justice. But only because he got caught! He is in this this just as much as Wade and hes so damn scared hes doing this bad. Its so obvious when someone in power flip flops between the heat and his constituants.
