Sounds like Bama people just trying to convince themselves Saban won't leave them for a new job like he left LSU. Saban left because he wanted to be a NFL coach his entire life. He simply struggled and couldn't handle it, and bailed.
As much as Bama fans want to believe he has the greatest job on Earth, Bama is no where near the job UT is and not only can he get paid more, but can truly make UT his own and separate himself from every other coach in history by potentially winning NCs at 3 different schools. That's something that could never be topped.
In the end, it all goes back to what matters to Saban.

Saban left LSU because he never intended to stay at LSU. LSU was just a stepping stone to the NFL to him. During his time in Baton Rouge, he flirted with the Giants, Bears and at least one other team before the big bucks from Miami did the trick. Bucks and a promise of total control.
