All of y'all with your "I've had over twelve hours to come up with a typed and edited response to what Jefferson should have said to appease my sensibilities" quotes are right. They are all good things to say.
But what would you have said if you were a 20 year old that just got booed by your own fans fifteen minutes after you just played like shite with a micro phone in your face? Give him a break, he didn't say the right thing. All of the gloom and doom psychoanalysis is entertaining.

nobody posted this question to me 12 hours ago. JJ actually had more time after the game, knowing he would be asked questions, before the post game conference, than I did when I opened the thread and chose to click "reply"
so, BS

Jefferson said he didn't hear the boos and that he wasn't frustrated by his poor play "I'm not frustrated; we're 4-0," he said. "What do I have to be frustrated about. "I really didn't (hear the boos). I have thick skin. I'm not worried about what any critics say. I'm not worried about what any fans say. I'm not worried about what any media guys say. We're 4-0. That is our main goal, to go undefeated."
I would say that he's in denial. This is the same JJ that spiked the *#$%ing ball against Ole Miss with one second left on the clock. He hasn't improved at all. It's like when Obama says the recession is over. Well, the recession continues, and JJ ain't improving, and all the powers that be just pretend everything is hunky-dory. Face it, JJ's lost like a nanny in high weeds and doesn't even know it.
It's time to yank him out by the collar and put in a dog that can follow the scent.

Ok, Ok, so you're smarter than JJ, but can you run the option?

You realize that he's a junior, this wasn't his first bad game, and the university hires PR people that actually work with the players, and even prepare them for just these very interviews, right?

The thing is you'll never be asked any question like that. You'll never be asked a question that several hundred thousand people will dissect, who knows how you'd answer it after the game? He's a frustrated twenty year old. No one's ever accused JJ of being a mature, heady leader, so why do you expect him to have the right answer? Why do you care what he says....unless he says something along the lines of "frick this team, this coach, and all the fans" publicly? I'd rather just see him play better on the field which probably isn't going to happen.

eligibility is all used up. Plus I never ran the option. So, no.

I understand why our loyal fans would be unhappy with our performance as an offense this year, and as our quarterback, I will go back to practice this week and work as hard as I can to make this team better, and our improvement has to start with me.
If he said that then there would be threads popping up saying JJ said that last week. The dude cannot win. People are judging his facial expressions, body language, quotes in the paper,,,,finding something negative to write about. The only way he can turn this around is winning. Well, the team is winning he has to throw for 300 yards and 3 tds everygame and he has to beat bama and then win the SECCG.

And?
He still managed to come up with a bad answer. So?

Yeah, he seems pretty fricked up. But that was obvious just from watching his body language all game. He's not a very good QB. He's going to start the next game. Probably won't play very well then either. Let's just make sure we bash him then too.

He needs to see my rebuke thread
this denial thinking will cost us at least 4 games

The only criticism Jefferson needs to listen to is that from his coaches. I cannot imagine that he did not hear the boos, however. That embarrassed us as a school and a state far more that the poor performance on offense. What do you think those top visiting recruits thought of the fans booing?
Frustrations are warranted, even anger. But booing young players and their coaches is just a shame. We are better than that.

little different when you do this to end the half when you are tied as opposed to ending the game when you are down...please tell me you understand this

BTW, your post IMPLIES, you're an idiot...FWIW
