Trey Watkins???

does anyone think he will contribute again this post season or in the future as a full time starter?

I'll have to get back to you on this one...my magic 8 ball is in the shop.
j/k but next year is in the future and he'll be back so I guess yes. But this year, he obviously hasn't returned to his pre injury form and I don't think Mainieri will experiment to let him regain his form in the postseason.

i think so. this is PM's M.O. he always brings in guys that played significant time earlier in the season in during the postseason. With Katz not hitting that well, I see him getting playing time.

No don't get me wrong Im def pro Trey... I think that P.M. should def try to work him back into the lineup...

He can't fully extend his elbow so no he should not be back in the lineup.

Maybe not.. Wasn't he put in RF because of his arm. I believe he and watkins both cover ground about the same

Gotta stick with Katz, and I'm pretty sure PM is going to pinch hit Dishon before Watkins.

He did put him back in the lineup. It didn't work. Pretty hard to swing the bat effectively when you can't straighten out your arm.
He'll be limited mostly to pitch running. It'll take some bad performances by Katz to get back in this year.

I think Katz' catch to basically save the SEC Tourney Championship was the thing that sealed his starting position.

I think PM is done with Watkins for this season, he'll be back next year though, probably in right field, Mahtook is definitely going to center when Leon is drafted.
Fury looked decent pinch running on Sunday, but Watkins is definitely faster, I'd use him for that during the postseason, but not actually in the field.
