If Jennings can't learn to read a defense better and go through his progressions by next season then he has no business starting. I don't care how much more experience he has than Harris.

yup. there was a play in one of the earlier games where we went 5 wide in the red zone and threw Trey a quick slant. he caught it but didn't break the tackle for a TD. that should be a Diarse play all the way.

hell, I liked that one time they motioned Diarse in behind the OL on a shirt yardage play and let him be an extra lead blocker. dude is physical.

Rueben Randle, Odell Beckham Jarvis Landry.

The last Big Time WR that didn't go to the NFL was Terrence Tolliver, and i can't figure that out, because he had a solid if not amazing career at LSU

Tolliver suffered a knee injury in the offseason when he went to the Texans. Never really broke through after that.

And, for the record, Tolliver was criminally underused at LSU.

I was half joking/half serious in response to SG's post.

But, yeah, I wish we could get him more involved.

Well 2008-2010 wasn't out best years for WRs. Be did have 750 yards as a JR.

He has dropped the ball more times than I have seen him catch it.

Yeah.. once Jennings would stop overthrowing the ball.. all the WRs would be more involved. Can't involve the WRs if you have no QB. Jennings has shown that he can throw 50% completion deep balls. Intermediate or even short passes.. not so much.

Every snap there is one, yes one.... ball. One ball per play. Guess what? Fournette needs more carries.... Williams needs more carries... Dural needs more catches.... (INSERT NAME HERE) needs more touches. ONE BALL.....

No doubt about this. Any kid who is the state record holder for receiving yards in high school deserves to get touches in every game at the next level. He didn't become the record holder by accident! He can play!!

he should probably used on kick-off returns. sammy martin had that blue collar come to work mentality also and he did quite well in the return game.

I like Quinn because we share the same values. He had a good upbringing. Unlike some of the other knuckleheads on the team, he'll be fine with or without football.

We threw the ball 14 times last week. How many times do you think Trey should be targeted? 10%? So target him about 1.4 times a game? That's about how he's used. I'm not sure what else can be done.

Remember two years ago when everyone was upset because we didn't have a vertical passing game. Now people are upset that it is too vertical.

After halftime I was watching him every play he was in on and it was pretty shocking how open he was on numerous plays. I have no way of proving this but from what I see it's clear that Jennings picks his receiver before even snapping the ball on most passing plays.
