Average hands and a bit slow for a sec WR. Diarse should be in front of him

That's probably naturally a part of it, yes.

But, to me, it has nothing to do with it. I just think those other guys give us a better chance. That's all.

I agree

I'm kinda baffled that Diarse doesn't play that much. And when he does play it seems they never pass it to him.

When Diarse is in it's almost a guaranteed run.

But yeah, I liked Diarse from the very first game of the year. Thought he'd get more time.

Yep, though what sickens me most was the unsportsmanlike at the end of the fourth quarter. Utter crap.

He was a freaking beast against Wisconsin. I expected him to be our #2 WR after that game but somehow he's dropped to #4

LSU approaches passing with an all or nothing mentality. Run, run, run, run, throw a deep fade route.

If Jennings could learn to hit Quinn (or whoever for that matter, doesn't have to be Trey Quinn specifically) ten yards away running on a slant, it would open up everything. Because at that point, not only can we run the ball and have deep threats, but then you have to protect against the underneath routes as well. And most of the time, those underneath routes will kill a defense. That's how Josh Reed made his living at LSU.

When you see the game in person and not on tv, you see how many times Quinn is open.

Granted, he sucked last night and really most of the season. He has alligator arms at the worst time. Yeah, the ball is thrown kind of weird at him, but frick dude. Go all out for it and concentrate on catching the fricking ball!

Quinn appears to be a player who would of benefitted from a redshirt

I'm at every single game. He is open sometimes, but he is not open every play.

But I agree with all of what you said above this.

Yep, this. Like it or not, Jennings had about 5 balls that should have been caught for 1st downs. That is the difference in the game. This is on the passing game as a whole, not just one guy.

How he starts over Diarse is baffling. Then again it wouldn't be LSU without at least one controversial starter. I just don't see Quinn ever making the play Diarse did against Wisconsin.

Exactly.

It reminds me of how I don't see Welter ever making the big hit on 3rd down that Beckwith made in the Ole Miss game with 2 minutes left.

We have to play the guys who will help us more. Plain and simple.

Maybe. Or just a better offense.

All four of our receivers have talent and skill, but we just aren't very creative.

But still, no matter what happens, when the ball is thrown to you, you need to catch it.

Seems like those are your two possession receiver options.

Diarse should at least be getting more snaps than he has been, that's for sure.

I think the game got in his head a bit, Wisconsin at a neutral site is different than SEC play at night.

I just don't understand it man.

This is a hard game to rationalize.
