People have been projecting him to make a jump for 4 years now and it's just not there.
Dude is can be a good role player on a playoff team, but he still has too much baby giraffe elements to his movement to be counted on as a go-to player.
If we really want to build around Fears and Queen, it would behoove us greatly to trade him for something to help a rebuild. Of course, that was the case this offseason... but Dumars.

One of the most over hyped players in the last decade. I was really hoping we would have traded him this summer

I can already tell you what will happen this season.
Trey will have a 2 week stretch putting up good numbers with a couple hot shooting nights thrown in and the usual stooges on here will make threads saying that "he's finally turned the corner" and "build around Trey"
Trey will then follow that up with a month long cold stretch, lather, rinse, repeat.
