Buzz is that his HS coaches slowed the process of getting him through the Clearinghouse.
The staff @ his HS are large A&M guys, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, it would have been good & much better for the defensive depth situation to sign another true LB in the 2011 class, but Trevon has great speed & is a very good athlete. It looks like the Tigers are going to sign a lot of tremendous linebackers in 2012 to make that position even stronger. I was also wondering about his academics--glad he is on campus & will be ready for fall practices.
