You dont have an issue with the trophy, just how the winner is chosen by the voters. I agree, most Heisman winners aren't actually the "best" players the year they win it. Sometimes it is. Last year the voters got it right though IMO.

The way it's chosen has really taken away from the award itself. It really has lost a lot of it's lustre.

yeah but what is funny is that Ron Brooks tackled him!

Definitely was Brandon Taylor.

The unsung hero of this defense this season.

The play was actually very well designed except for one thing.

If you watch the play progress, the TE was originally open and would have still been open for the TD if it wasn't for one of the receivers on the other side not run a route that rubbed his man (Reid) off on the TE. If the route was say, an out route, Reid would not have been in a position to make that play.

Had this route not occurred, it wouldn't have mattered who was rushing the passer.

Very well designed except for the major fact they ruined it with a receiver running in his vicinity (almost ran up his back)?

That wasn't well designed at all. Unforgivable you would steer a defender towards the part of the field that you're trying to keep clean.

Yeah that was the one thing like I said. It couldve been easily avoided by simply changing that receiver's route, especially a receiver that wasnt involved in the play at all.

Last I heard it was the coaches that drew up all the bama plays. Out coached.

when Maze threw the pick Trent should have either won or lost the game for us on that drive. He's the best we got and shoulda had the game in his hands. May have lost 10 yards on the next two plays but we should have run him either way. But yeah, yall did keep him in check pretty much all night

I think Miles is in Saban's head. Totally un Saban like call. He tried to out Miles, Miles and Miles out Saban'd Saban. Dont know if thats the correct way to say it but I hope you get what I mean. Miles lined up and punched us in the mouth and we tried to get cute

Couldnt agree more w/ these 2 statements- it was the diff in the game. Saban's still a great coach. As a LSU fan, I'd like him out of bama
