and there wasn't one taco stand in there. i searched for the entirety of halftime. I did get to watch Zona-Utah St before though

yeah, that was a great game and those Utah St fans brought it on that day.

other highlights of boise were stealing blades of blue turf and being thoroughly searched to enter a bar. i mean under my hat, in my wallet, my chapstick tube...

The people were friendly, but strange to say the least. They have a lot of pride in their potatoes and they will push them on you if they find out you are from out of town. I had planned to spend a few days there as I was banking on LSU to win the opening game. Once they were ousted, I got out of there ASAP and headed West. I literally spent less than 20 hours in Boise.

Yes, Boise is a step up from the SEC and LSU.

Not from a coaching perspective but Boise, Idaho has a hell of a lot more to offer than Baton Rouge. Sawtooth mountains, trout fishing, Elk & Mule deer hunting, etc. Not sure Trent is into that tho.

Auburn fans were talking about John Brady at the SEC Tourney in Nashville since he won Coach of the Year in his conference this year. They say Auburn is giving him a good look.

They say he would recruit like crazy with their new arena and sports complex.

He certainly won't have the the cities of Auburn and Opelika to immediately help him out.

It has also been mentioned that AU can't recruit guys from AAU teams due to some sanctions. Don't know if that's true, just wanted to point that out.

True, Louisiana is also pretty fertile when it comes to talent and you don't have to battle any other in-state schools. Having said that, schools like Baylor can come in and handpick one of the nation's better backcourts.

i think trent has a good relationship with terry martin sr. which is cool since i think richwood is supposed to have a couple of good players coming up. the monroe area has produced some good players.

I'll chime in on this........and I'm a die hard LSU fan. But Boise is a great city......and in my opinion....rivals what Louisiana has in many respects. It's a great place to raise a family, it's a beautiful town with a great river that runs through it, great hiking, biking, camping fishing and hunting. I get to Boise about 4-5 times a year as my In-Laws are there. I love Boise.......but I'm into all that stuff. Trent has best friends in Boise...... I could see this as a possibility.
