I saw in the Athletic where Brody Miller said there’s a strong chance Bradford puts his name in the portal. This is the first I’ve heard about this does anyone have any context as to why? Anytime O is asked about the RB’s he seems to say he loves Bradford’s ability as a receiver out of the backfield and he would seem to be in line for a good role this year.

Who knows
I like the walk on, Josh Williams, he was as impressive as any of the other rb's last season

Welcome to the new college football!!Noone wants to sit a year or two because they think they can go elsewhere and start immediately.Us old-timers know that the grass isnt always greener but try telling that to a 18-21 year old Clyde Edwards-Helaire,Patrick queen are perfect examples of why people should stay.

I’m not at all old but I sure feel like it. We would be called soft pussies if we ran away from competition instead of faced it. In 10 years no college teams will have any quality depth to speak of because entire 2nd and 3rd strings will hit the portal instead of stay and fight. That is if football doesn’t go the way of basketball and have its best stars go play for a prep league that pays instead of go to college.

That would kind of suck. I think he's a talented kid and we have some injuries/question marks in the backfield.

I get the point you’re making, but Clyde played a lot as a true sophomore. He didn’t sit too long.

Tre is a homerun hitter and I think could be a legit starter for us. I wish he'd stick it out. I know he got in some legal trouble, I wonder if that is playing a part.

Momma might want him to come home.

He's a horrible receiver. Not sure where this comes from. Even the one touchdown he did catch looked awful and he almost dropped it.

Being allowed to play right away after transferring will make it easier for guys to think about their futures.

I’m not ready to call the kid a horrible receiver based on a couple plays from his true freshman season. I’ll take the coaches word who see him in practice on a daily basis and O has said he has versatility that he can be used in the backfield as well as in the slot so he’s obviously got some talent there.

Goodwin and Kiner are studs that are coming in. He’s behind TDP and Emery. Add that in with Moss and Citizen coming this recruiting cycle, it’s going to be hard for him.

Practices. O sees a lot more of him than we do.

This.

I don't have any hard feelings and hope he goes somewhere and gets some playing time.

Unless they transfer to a smaller school they will be in the same situation

First I hear too but the depth chart is kinda stiff this year.

TDP
Emery
Bradford
Kiner
Godwin

The two newcomers are highly touted and I dont expect to see a 5 man rotation...

Could it be that Bradford is concerned that either or both the two new freshmen running backs will take playing time away from him this fall?
