Like ‘quitting a job before having a new job’. I’d never give up my scholarship without knowing where my next one was coming from.

A kid should only be allowed to enter the portal once. Redshirt rule should only be applied to a player who stays within a program.

And what about the thousand kids who enter the portal but find no takers? Pretty much ends both their football and educational careers.
