We could run the toss dive all we wanted against non elite teams, but the few elite teams that we play would find a way to stop it.

This is when Mile and company would refuse to try anything else. I do not believe our current OC will be that stubborn.

This, IMHO much more you can do off the jet sweep, whereas the toss dive was basically....here it comes.

Sure, you could fake the pitch and go play action off of that but I don't think it's as effective in holding the defense on play action and even if you were to try to make an argument that it does...how often did we do that? Not much.

Toss dive

The jet sweep will never work against a decent defense. The toss dive is just an odd way of running a normal dive play.
