I was there in student section. 2 dudes ran all the way from the north end zone down to the south end of the field during a TV timeout. They ran 60+ yards down the field before security even noticed. Then they stopped and mooned the Bama players on the field.
Crazy game. That was the fumbled punt that the refs fricked up and was trying to give Bama the game, but the Jumbotron (lol back then) showed the replay over and over. It was a blantant frick up and they overturned. This was before instant replay and Debose went absolutely ape shite. That was probably the best game Bama played that year (of course in BR).

No ref has ever intentionally given LSU a bad call against bama or auburn. What the refs do is give bama and auburn all the calls that they don't see or calls that are 50/50.

They came close in this game.
Plus: Bama 09 Peterson interception.

meh. grand theft auburn would argue against that claim. tell me the last game you saw 8 bad or no calls? all against same team? I have never seen that in pop warner. that cost us the game. Also how any replay missed PP INT in 09 is beyond words. twilight zone shite.

They were in one of my freshman math classes that year planning it out in class one night week of. I overheard them but couldn't quite figure out their intentions. Figured it out at that game and when one of them showed up with an arm cast on the following week.

So I was sitting right in front of them. We talked with them about it for most of the game. I think they ran out during the 3Q - 4Q break. There were 3 of them. One of them got cold feet and decided not to go and said he would bail them out later. We talked about how little trouble they would get in. We convinced them it was no big deal. It was a great moment in my LSU days. They weren't naked but had chests painted.
There was a completely naked dude I think against OSU during the rain delay. He was bare.

Oregon State, one of the worst rainy games I attend d in 45 years. It was ankle deep

i was there also but that late TD pass from JR to big daddy bowe and then the ensuing two point rollout conversion by JR was fabulous.

Without a doubt it was one of the most underrated moments in Tiger Stadium. That stadium came alive after those two guys mooned the Alabama huddle.

i was 8 years old and remember it vividly. This was the first LSU game that i attended in which i remember what really happened in the game, etc. My pawpaw and I had seats on row ~4 behind the LSU bench, and one of the students was literally grabbed/arrested in the row in front of me, nearly in my lap.
edit: pretty sure they were in LSU hardhats while shirtless.

Yeah, I remember this fairly well. I was in my last year of pre-med, and I was home for that weekend, when a friend hooked my dad and I up with some tickets with pretty sweet seats. Those two guys made it pretty far up the field before security realized they were there. They both ran up behind the Bama huddle, yelled something to them, and then pulled their pants down to show Bama their backsides. If I remember correctly, I think both started slapping their butts. Freddie Millons broke out of the huddle, and started walking towards them with his arms out in the whole "you want a piece of me" signal (what a douche bag, attention whore that guy was). Both of these guys were shirtless, and had LSU hardhats that looked similar to our helmets. I remember laughing as a couple of the security guards were fat and out of shape, and these two were running and cutting to avoid capture. One guy snaked his way back down the field pretty far before he finally got lit up on a tackle by one of the guards.
Yes, this was also the game that they almost made the worst call ever on the punt return. Domanick Davis was set to take the punt, when the gunner actually hit him right before the ball got there. The ball bounced off of the back of the gunner, and the refs originally ruled it as a muffed punt, that Bama recovered. This was going to be pretty deep within our own territory, also. Yes, the jumbotron operator re-ran it constantly as the refs deliberated. I remember seeing one of the refs break the ref huddle and he looked up and watched the whole replay. He went back into the huddle, and in a few minutes later, they (correctly) reversed the call. Saban, in his post-game interview, even said that he was going to have to send the jumbotron guy an award for his help. lol
Yeah, that was the overtime where we threw a TD to Robert Royal (the TE) on the first play of OT. That sealed our win.
I remember dominating Bama early, but they started making drives in the second half. I believe their fullback, Dustin McClintock, was suspended for the first half of the game. He was out in their opening drive of the second half, and they literally pounded a TD scoring drive on that first drive of the second half. It got Bama back in the game.
There were other screwy calls that helped Bama. It was loud of course, and on one play the refs blew a play dead just as Jeremy Lawrence was blitzing Zow from the backside. It was too loud to hear much, and the whistles were late, so Lawrence finished his tackle of Zow, and the refs called a personal foul on the play. It gave them new life on that drive, and helped them scratch some points on the board on a drive that was otherwise finished.
Good memories! Good times!

Early 2000s student section was not to be trifled with. Now we have a kinder gentler student section.

I started school at LSU in 2000. This is an accurate statement

My second year there. The stadium went nuts. The Tennessee, miss state games were fantastic. Remember camping out right after class for season tickets the next year because the lines were so long during The day. By the next morning the line was a half mile long behind us.
