fsu in the 90's was possibly the biggest fad of the 90's.

Those early 2000 Florida State/Miami games were awesome. Always went with the Noles in those

Playing NCAA games gave me a lot of teams to root for.

This right here too. I used Arizona a couple years ago in an Online Dynasty during the year they went to the Fiesta Bowl and found myself following them closely

Va Tech --- have some cousins who went there who are big fans.

La. schools when not playing LSU.

Univ. of Washington --- had a great time when we went to that game.

You just said you have time to cheer for 3 other teams, including another college team.

that's true. I guess I don't have any want or need to cheer for another team that I have no affiliation with. On a separate note, I also find in disingenuous and tacky...like Dallas Cowboys Starter jacket everywhere in 1994 tacky.

it's ok for kids but lame as the frick for adults to root for a team they have absolutely no real connection to. The exception can be made for folks living in areas with no team like Hawaii. I guess I simply don't care for insincere fans. Every fan base has them, and they're lame as frick.

VA Tech for the LOML and she reciprocates the favor. Obviously any team that can benefit LSU with a win.

Also, college sports are much more like pro than they ever have been as far as fan support due to television and the internet

Gone are the days of rooting for the team because you went there. College athletics are one step below pro in all regards except fandom.

Alabama fans can be found all over the world and it has nothing to do with being an alumni. The same can be said for USC, Norte Dame, Texas, Miami, etc
I never said you had to graduate to be a fan. But I did graduate and it would feel wrong to root for another school.

Also this
