Dude, wake the hell up. No other greener patures called

We know for a fact that in '07 the Michigan AD was out sailing and did not return any of Miles' agents calls

We know for a fact the the Michigan ADs corporate jet flew to San Diego, then to BR, then to Michigan, where the San Diego St coach ws announced the very next day

If Miles was turned the offer down 1st, those flights would have been reversed. Hoke was already on board, when they came to BR to break the bad news to Miles

Stop it, stop it! Facts get in the way of their narative that Miles - a man of unrivaled character and integrity - loves LSU and is as loyal as a Golden Retriever.

I think character and class is easily reflected by a mans family life. All reports from people publicly and people who know him personally all agree on one thing. He is a terrific nice guy who cares deeply about his family and raising his kids.

I take it you did not see the game. It pains me to say it but Saban is 10 times the coach Miles is. If you swap coaches for the game, we would have beaten bama easily.

People tend to forget what comes with a head coaching Job it seems. Despite the flop Monday, miles puts in work. His winning percentage and success shows the work he puts in. :fearthehat: here's to miles and the success we have in the future.

Some of you tiger fans just kill me with this praise les miles bullshite....
I may like a coach, but to praise him, im sorry its not gonna happen....
I praise jesus christ, not some college football coach.....
Les is a good coach, a very good recruiter.. but, i sometimes question his ability to make the right decisions at the right time...
The only thing i can truly say about the guy is his sense of loyalty to certain players and coaches on his staff will one day be his downfall..

I have no earthly idea about his family life other than what I read, some of which seems genuine and some of which is PR (which doesn't mean it's not true). I certainly think he's done a marvelous job of taking care of their economic security - and good for him.

But Mile$ is just like every other head coach - the constant harping about how morally superior he is to other coaches when there is NOTHING to suggest that he's any different than any of them is silly. Le$ has bounced from job to job trying to climb the ladder to more money and security - and good for him.

If Michigan had offered him a job based on everthing I've read he'd have taken it in a heartbeat. But they never offered him a job - back in 2007 or 2010. Some LSU fans ignore this fact.

LSU is stuck with Mile$ - he's played the money game as well as anyone (as good or better than Saban considering he's not nearly as good a coach). On a yearly basis, Le$ and his agent try to get more money and years added to his contract. Nothing wrong with that, and he's not always successful, but let's not pretend that it doesn't happen - it does.

The result? It would cost LSU a fortune to get rid of him if they were of a mind to do so, no NFL team is stupid enough to hire him and few other college programs can afford him. So Le$ stays, which considering the state of the program when Saban arrived is still a big upgrade over Stovall, Archer, Hallman, DiNardo. Is Le$ an upgrade over these guys? Sure.

But Mile$ is not a man whose professional character distinguishes him from the average Joe and is not deeply loyal to LSU. And there is nothing wrong with any of that. I just find it perplexing that some LSU fans feel compelled to continually try to add these falsehoods to his resume.

Winning 13 games with those two starting QB's might make him the best coach in the country

I will not sit here and say I personally know his family but I do know people who do. What you say is PR is just Miles being Miles. The PR just came because thats how he is.

ETA about the Michigan thing you know nothing more than I know or the guy who claims he turned down Michigan knows. Which is nothing. Who knows what happened only miles Michigans AD and Miles' family knows

Miles is 3-3 against that coach, and unless something major happens, will be favored in the next two games. In the last five years, Miles has more wins than that coach, and I believe Miles will have more wins than that coach in the next five years.

This is the kind of gibberish that losers spout. Would you rather 3 championships or more wins? As I see it, Satan is 3X better than LM. Plus he made a complete fool of LM. This is the truth.

Bama's title this year should have an asterisk. They did not deserve to be in the NC Game. They won, but they did not earn their spot in the NC Game. The only reason they were in it was media bias, a media that is pushing for a playoff. But out of the same mouth of the pro-playoff media came a decision to put into the NC Game a team that lost what everyone believed to be a playoff game, the first LSUBama game in which the loser should have been eliminated. Alabama was given a free spot in the NC Game by the media based entirely on an argument of potential, not merit, over a more deserving OK State team that had a much more impressive resume. Both the bowl system and the playoff system were injured by the inclusion of Bama this year. Potential is never an argument when an award is merit based.

I agree completely.

Saban only has 2 more NCs than Miles. He only has 1 more SEC championship though
